Al-Ghandour: Zamalek will sign a strong striker after selling Marwan Hamdy for 23 million pounds

The Egyptian club’s board of directors, headed by Kamel Abu Ali, succeeded in completing the contracting procedures with international striker Marwan Hamdi, the spearhead of the Zamalek team, with a contract that extends for four seasons, starting from the new season 2023/2022 until the end of the 2026/2025 season.

Marwan Hamdi signed his contract with the Green Castle after the Egyptian club paid the value of the deal to Zamalek in the presence of Yasser Yehia, a member of the Egyptian club’s board of directors, who was authorized by the Egyptian club’s board of directors to negotiate with the Zamalek club management and the player.

The 25-year-old has a marketing value of 500,000 euros, and during his football career, Marwan Hamdi represented 4 different teams before joining the Egyptian club, where he played for the teams: Al-Maqasa, Zamalek, Wadi Degla and Smouha.

The total of Marwan Hamdi’s participation with all teams reached 112 matches in various tournaments, during which he scored 31 goals and made 5 other goals for his teammates.

The last season was considered to be Marwan Hamdi’s most colorful season. He played for the Smouha team on loan from Zamalek, and participated with Smouha in 35 matches, during which he scored 16 goals and made 4 other goals.

Marwan Hamdi was crowned with Zamalek club in the two championships, the League and the Egypt Cup, with one copy of each championship.
