Al-Kuwaiti hits a date with Zamalek in the semi-finals of the Arab Handball Championship

The Kuwaiti-Kuwaiti team defeated its UAE counterpart, Sharjah, 30/26, in the quarter-finals of the Arab Handball Championship, which is currently being held in Tunisia and will continue until September 27.

Zamalek is scheduled to meet its Kuwaiti counterpart in the semi-finals of the tournament next Sunday, as the white team qualified directly for the semi-finals according to the competition schedule, in light of the Kasakidah team’s apology for participating.

Yesterday, the handball team of Zamalek Club defeated its counterpart Mouloudia Algiers 26/31 in the third group stage confrontation in the Arab Championship hosted by Tunisia, and will continue until September 27, to qualify for the semi-finals.

On his way to the semi-finals, the handball team of Zamalek Club defeated Kuwait’s Al-Kuwait 20/23 in its second confrontation in the Arab Championship hosted by Tunisia, and won its first confrontation on Saturday, over Esperance of Tunisia, with a score of 28/32.

The handball team of Zamalek Club recently won the Egyptian Super Cup after beating Al-Ahly with a score of 23/27 in the confrontation that brought both teams together at Hassan Mostafa Hall on October 6, which hosted the competition for three consecutive days in the Egyptian Super Cup. The first half was 11/13 in favor of Zamalek, amid Al-Ahly’s attempts to reduce the goal difference.
