Austin Amoto is close to Al Ittihad of Alexandria after being excluded from Al Masry

Mohamed Omar, the sporting director of the Alexandrian Federation, revealed that Austin Amoto, the Egyptian club’s striker, is close to joining the leader of the gap in the new season, in order to strengthen the team’s offensive line.

Omar said, in statements to On Time Sport channel, “There are two or three deals on the way. We contracted with Al-Mahdi Suleiman to strengthen the goalkeeper, and we had two problems in the center of the defense and the striker, and we contracted with Mohamed Saleh and we will contract with players in the heart of the defense also in the coming period.”

He added: We contracted with a future striker, Ahmed Sayed Gharib, for two seasons, and we renewed the contract of Ibrahim Hassan, Nasser Nasser and Islam Abdel Naim from El Gouna.

And he concluded: There is another striker that we will contract with, and Austin Amoto is among the candidates for the team in the coming period, and he is among the 3 potential strikers, and we will resolve the inclusion of one of them.

And hold officials Egyptian A special session with the Nigerian striker Austin Amoto, in order to agree to terminate the contract between the two parties by mutual consent, as Al-Masry decided to pay the late dues to Amoto for the last season in order to terminate the contract, and Amoto remains for $75,000 from last season.

The Egyptian club signed 9 summer deals during the current summer Mercato, and they are: Algerian duo Abdel Rahim Dagmoum and Imad El Din Boubacar, Marwan Hamdi, Nigerian Anthony Okbutu, Hussein El Sayed, Amr El Saadawi, Mohamed Dabash, Cameroonian Frank Etoga and goalkeeper Mahmoud Gad.
