The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation, participated in the 25th Arab-African Investment and International Cooperation Conference and Exhibition “Civil Society and Sustainable Development”, which is being held under the auspices of the Presidency of the Egyptian Council of Ministers and the League of Arab States, during the period from 26 to 30 October in the governorate. the shortest.

On behalf of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Suha Bahgat, Advisor to the Minister for Training Affairs and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry, participated in this conference.

Dr. Soha Bahgat, Advisor to the Minister for Training Affairs, said that the tourism industry is one of the tributaries of the economy in countries and contributes to the economies of major countries, pointing out that the Egyptian state aims to increase the number of tourists coming to Egypt in the coming years, and encourages investment in the tourism industry and provides all The necessary facilities for investors to encourage them to invest in the tourism sector.

During her speech, Dr. Soha Bahgat reviewed the factors of tourist attractions in the Egyptian tourist destination. She also talked about the strategy of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to increase the number of tourists coming to all Egyptian tourist destinations, noting its most prominent axes, which are doubling and increasing the capacity available to airports and planes in cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and improving the experience Tourism for tourists in Egypt, the quality of services provided to them, and the improvement of the investment climate.

The conference witnessed the allocation of a pavilion to the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation, which was provided with promotional films launched by the ministry to promote the Egyptian tourist destination, and propaganda materials about tourist and archaeological sites in the Egyptian governorates, in addition to souvenirs to present to the conference guests.
