The Egyptian Olympic team qualified for the final stage of the qualifiers for the U-23 African Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco, after defeating Eswatini 1-0.
Egypt beat Eswatini in the second leg of the Nations Cup qualifiers, a tournament that qualifies for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
After the first leg match between them ended in a goalless draw.
The tournament will be held in November 2023.
Egypt will play Zambia in the final stage of the qualifiers for the African Nations Under-23 Championship.

Mahmoud Saber hit the ball from in front of the penalty area, but the goalkeeper countered it brilliantly and prevented him from scoring.
The strong pressure of the Egyptian team continued in the remaining time of the first half, and Mustafa Saad penetrated from the left and sent a cross, which was met by Osama Faisal with a header, but the goalkeeper again blocked it.

In the second half, the Egyptian national team continued its control and attempts to score the goal, but the attacks did not end as required in front of the goal.
Rogerio Micale, coach of the Olympic team, pushed the duo, Hossam Abdel Majid and Abdel Rahman Atef, instead of Mohamed Maghribi and Mahmoud Saber in the 60th minute.
Osama Faisal scored the winning goal for Egypt in the 70th minute.
The goal came after left-back Mohammed Ashraf penetrated into the middle of the field, then passed the ball to Imad Mihoub to the left to send a cross cross, which Faisal met in the net.
