Real Madrid announced that duo David Alaba and Aurelien Choameni were injured today, Monday.
Real Madrid stated in an official statement that Alaba was injured in the calf of the right leg.
Frenchman Choameni was also injured in the left calf during the team’s training.
This comes just two days before Real Madrid’s match against Valencia in the Spanish Super Cup semi-finals.
Sergio Kirante, a Spanish journalist specializing in Real Madrid news, said that the two had lost the opportunity to compete in the Super Cup.

Alaba and Choameni appeared mainly during the defeat against Villarreal last Saturday.
Tchwamini was substituted during the match, while Alaba played the full game.
Tchoamini participated in the 2022 World Cup with France, and after his return he appeared as a substitute for 3 minutes against Valladolid, then started for 45 minutes in the Caserinho match in the 32nd round of the King’s Cup of Spain, before playing 64 minutes against Villarreal.
The Spanish Super Cup will be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, between January 11 and 15.
Real Madrid, the league champions, will play in the first semi-final against Valencia, the cup runners-up, on Wednesday evening.
Then Barcelona – the runners-up of the league – will meet Real Betis – the cup champion – in the second semi-final on Thursday evening.
The final match will be held on Sunday, January 15th, at King Fahd International Stadium.
Real Madrid holds the title of the last edition after winning two goals without a response to Athletic Bilbao in the same stadium.
Barcelona holds the record for coronations with 13 titles, followed by Real Madrid with 12 titles, then Athletic Bilbao and Deportivo La Coruña with 3 titles each.
