Al-Ittihad coach Zoran Manulovic revealed his position on the departure of the duo, Marwan Attia and Hisham Salah.

Al-Ittihad contracted Zoran Manulovic to take over his coaching starting next season, replacing Mohamed Omar.

Zoran said via On Time Sports: “With regard to the players’ departure and the approval of offers, the matter is up to the club’s management, which will determine their fate.”

As far as I know FilGoal.com Earlier, Zamalek offered Al-Ittihad in the past few days a sum of money in addition to 4 players (2 loan and 2 final sale) to obtain the services of Marwan Attia permanently.

And about receiving an offer from Ismaili before agreeing with the federation, he explained, “No, there was absolutely no negotiation with Ismaili, and this is the first time that I coach an Egyptian team after many experiences in Africa.”

He revealed, “Mohamed Moslehi, the club’s president, was the one who handled the negotiations with me, and his professional method was a big surprise for me. He has great ambition and wants to be a strong team.”

He continued, “The contract period is two seasons, and I started working with the team last week, after I watched 3 or 4 matches from last season. I also spoke with the club president about the team and the players, and I have good information about the things that are happening within the Al-Ittihad club.”

New Deals

Regarding Al-Ittihad’s contracts for the new season, he explained, “I talk every day with the club president about new deals and what the Al-Ittihad club needs, and we are looking to create the atmosphere for the start of a strong season.”

And he continued, “A few days ago, I talked about the inclusion of new players in some positions to support the team, and I promised the club president to appear better than last season.”

“We have distinguished players in the midfield, but we need an additional player and we also need a new striker to support the offensive line,” he stressed.

The federation announced its official contract with 7 players so far, namely Nasser Nasser, Mohamed Saleh, Mahdi Suleiman, Islam Abdel Naim, Ahmed Eid, Ahmed Sayed Gharib and Khaled Sobhi.

Al-Ittihad also activated the clause of buying Ibrahim Hassan from Pyramids, after he spent half of the last season on loan.
