Al-Ahly – Kaizer Chiefs – 2021 Africa Final – Badr Banoon

Badr Banoon, the former Al-Ahly defender and Qatar, responded to the possibility of his transfer to Zamalek if he received an offer from the Egyptian League title holder.

Bannon moved to Qatar during the last summer transfers, after spending two years in the ranks of the Red Castle.

Bannon said through the Qatari newspaper, Al-Araby Al-Jadeed: “It is a great honor for me to play with a team like Al-Ahly and I succeeded in winning a title that I was missing, which is the African Champions League title.”

And about the possibility of moving to Zamalek, he stressed, “I am always loyal to the clubs I played for, as I cannot represent a Moroccan team other than Raja, and the same is true with Al-Ahly, I cannot represent another Egyptian team.“.

The 28-year-old defender joined Al-Ahly from Morocco’s Raja Casablanca in November 2020 for around 1.7 million euros before leaving for the Qatar League.

Bannon contributed to Al-Ahly’s crowning the 2021 African Champions League, the 2020 Egypt Cup, and the African Super Cup twice, in addition to winning third place in the Club World Cup 2020.
