FilGoal | News | Cameroon final squad – Anguise, Vincent Aboubacar and Anna are there to make what Eto’o said

Rogibert Song, head coach of the Cameroon national football team, announced his squad list for the 2022 World Cup.

Cameroon plays in Group G, along with Brazil, Serbia and Switzerland.

This will be the eighth appearance in the history of the lions in the World Cup after copies of 1982, 1990, 1994, 1998, 2002, 2010 and 2014.

The most remarkable achievement for Cameroon is reaching the quarter-finals of the 1990 edition.

The list witnessed the presence of veteran striker Vincent Aboubakar, accompanied by Eric Maxime Choupo-Moting, in addition to Andre Zambo Anguisa, the star of Napoli.

Cameroon hopes to realize the dream of Samuel Eto’o, president of the Football Association there, who believes that his country will crown the 2022 World Cup.

“Africa has always had a great World Cup, but we haven’t shown our best face yet,” Eto’o told the French newspaper OUEST.

“Over the years, African teams have gained more and more experience and I think they are used not only to participate in the World Cup but also to win the title,” he added.

“Cameroon will win the 2022 World Cup at the expense of Morocco in the final,” he added.

The final list of 26 players was as follows:

Goalkeepers: Andre Onana “Inter Milan” – Davis Ibassi “Saudi Abha” – Simon Ngabandwitenbo “Marseille of France”
