Zamalek officially announced his contract with Mostafa Al-Zanari, coming from the Vanguard of the Army.
Zamalek did not announce the value of the deal or the duration of the contract with Al-Zanari.

Al-Zanari participated with Tala’a El-Jaish last season in 30 games, during which he scored one goal and assisted three goals and contributed to keeping his team clean sheets in 20 games.
The 23-year-old joined the Egyptian national team for the first time under the leadership of Ihab Galal last May, but he has not played internationally so far.
Al-Zanari has played in the ranks of the Army’s vanguards since the junior stages, before joining the first team in 2017 for the first time.
In the 2019/2020 season, he joined the border guards on loan for a season, before returning to the team and then leaving on loan again to Ismaili in the middle of the 2020/2021 season, and returning at the end of the season.
Al-Zanari had previously suffered a cruciate ligament injury in 2020 during the Corona period, before recovering from the injury again.
Al-Zanari is the fourth deal that Zamalek has officially announced so far during the current transfer period.
Zamalek contracted with Nabil Emad “Dunga”, Zakaria Al-Wardi, and Ibrahima Naday.
Zamalek has two previous successful experiences with the army’s defenders, after Mahmoud Hamdi joined “Al Wansh” in 2016, to shine with the White Castle now, as the Zamalek fans hope that Al-Zanari will win his championship, and another experience with the inclusion of Islam Jamal in 2014 was not equally successful.
Thus, Zamalek owns, Mahmoud Hamdi “Al-Wansh”, Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Abdel-Ghani, and Hossam Abdel-Majid, next to Al-Zanari currently.
Zamalek is preparing to face Chad’s Elect on September 25 in the second leg of the preliminary round of the African Champions League, but Al-Zanari will be eligible to participate with the team after that match.
