FilGoal | News | Head of Taawon: These are the details of Mostafa Fathi’s departure to Pyramids

Saud Al-Rashudi, president of the Saudi Cooperation Club, revealed the details of Mustafa Fathi’s departure to Pyramids.

Pyramids announced its contract with Mostafa Fathi for a season on loan, coming from Al-Taawoun.

Al-Rashudi said on MBC Action: “Everyone knows that Mustafa Fathi has a problem related to military conscription, and I think in Egypt there is a certain system that allows him to play in some teams in coordination with the pioneers of the army.”

He added, “We preferred to loan the player and not lose him, especially as he has great talent and technical capabilities. Loaning is a good solution and we got a good amount of money for Al-Taawon Club, and the decision was delayed because the transfer market in Egypt is still open.”

A source from Saudi cooperation earlier explained to FilGoal.com The transaction value is $200,000.

Mostafa Fathi became the third Pyramids deal, after Moroccan Saad Al-Shaibi and Karim Hafez.

The 27-year-old winger started in Nabrouh and from there to Zamalek in 2013.

Mustafa was loaned to Saudi Cooperation in the 2017-18 season, then returned to Zamalek again, from which he was loaned in the second half of the 2020-2021 season to Smouha.

Mostafa starred with Smouha, scoring 17 goals and making 6 in 27 matches.

He returned to Zamalek again, and last January he joined the Saudi cooperation permanently for one million dollars.

In total, Mustafa played in the Zamalek shirt 156 games, scoring 28 games and making 16.

While in the Taawoun shirt, he participated in 26 matches, scoring 10 and making 7.
