FilGoal | News | Mortada Mansour: Abdel Hafeez was right in his desire to strike the referee.. This is a condition of paying an electric fine in installments

After the Al-Ahly match against Al-Masry, which ended in a goalless draw in the league, Mortada Mansour, President of Zamalek Club, spoke about several issues, most notably the case of Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba.

Mortada Mansour said in his statements to Zamalek TV: “Al-Ahly (empty) as we all see. I say to Muhammad Abul-Anein (President of Ceramica Cleopatra), it is good that you got rid of Shadi Hussein. The fans place in the stands, not the stadium.”

He added, “Sayed Abdel Hafeez (Al-Ahly’s director of football) was right in his desire to strike the referee, because the referee is supposed not to whistle until Al-Ahly scores, even if the game continues for 3 years.”

“They say that the players are plotting against coach Josevaldo Ferreira, and this is not true,” he said.

He continued, “All there is to it is that every player must play in his place. I am a lawyer, and I will not be good at fixing electricity. If you are an attacker, do not include me as a winger, and if you are in position 6, do not make me play in position 8. There is no one who does not understand football now in Egypt”.

Regarding the reaction after the crisis of Abdullah Jumaa and Ahmed Fattouh and their accusation of drug abuse, Mansour said: “The players took doping samples and they will be sent to Barcelona. None of us will be suspended for two years. They did the analysis 3 times and the sample came out negative.”

As for the case of the fine owed in favor of the Zamalek club against Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba, the Al-Ahly player, Mansour said: “You said that the contract was forged, but it is valid, and you said that FIFA will rule against Zamalek, so it ruled in our favor.”

He explained, “We have a session on February 2, and I say to Kahraba: I advise you, for God’s sake, if you are punished this time for 3 periods (a year and a half), the suspension will not be lifted even if you pay a billion dollars.”

He revealed, “I am ready to pay the fine by installments, provided that you bring your father, mother, and sister and take a 3-minute video saying who incited you to do so. After 5 minutes, I will pay you the fine in convenient installments.”

He concluded this issue, saying: “No one will benefit you, and even if you pay, you will remain suspended. They told you that you would play the Al-Masry match. Did you play? Did they put you on the list? What will you say to the Sports Court when it asks you about your lack of respect for its ruling?”

Regarding the future of Ahmed Fattouh, the team’s fullback, and Mahmoud Shabana, the defender loaned to the ranks of Smouha, Mansour said: “Fattouh is ready to face Pyramids in the cup. I will leave Mahmoud Shabana to Smouha so that he can play with him in the cup match.”

As for facing Sudanese Mars in the African Champions League, he said: “We will face Mars in Libya, and I wish he would come and play here in Cairo, and if his management wanted, the opportunity still exists for full residence.”
