The Football Association is holding attempts to bridge the gap between the views of Essam El-Hadary, the Olympic team goalkeeper coach, and Rogerio Micale, the coach, according to what was learned.

The Football Association is trying to calm things down to avoid the departure of the Olympic team goalkeepers.

A dispute arose between the two due to Micale’s desire to include only two guards for the team’s camp, while El-Hadary insisted on having three guards.

The date of the camp has been set as it will be held from November 10 to 20 of this month.

Mohamed Barakat, a member of the Board of Directors of the Football Association, said in previous statements yesterday to Al-Mehwar TV: “The agreement two days ago was to travel with 22 players to Morocco. I spoke with Mikale before her and told him that the decision is in the end for him. I have been with him since the first day and I support his decisions and he is the one who will be held accountable in the end.” .

“Micale met with the technical staff and they agreed that 20 players would be included with two goalkeepers,” he added.

He continued, “I received some calls and they told me that Essam El-Hadary objected and wanted to travel with three guards, and the words are amazing and comfortable.”

He continued, “There will be an urgent meeting in the Football Association to resolve this matter. I will hear from all parties to make sure of the conversation that I received in the end. The coach is the final decision-maker.”

He added, “We will not disagree on the value of Essam El-Hadary and his value for all of Egypt, but in the end, “work is work.”

He concluded, “I will not talk about any decision before I hear from all parties in order to make sure of what I have received, but what I heard greatly disturbed me and it must be resolved. I will not allow any unhealthy atmosphere and the formation of fronts within the Olympic team at all.”
