Zamalek players celebrate Omar Al-Saeed’s goal in Tala’a El-Gaish
Amir Al-Marakbi, Omar Al-Saeed’s business agent, revealed that the player is close to joining the Future Club.
Omar Al-Saeed’s contract with Zamalek expired at the end of the last season, and the player was informed of his exit from the technical staff’s accounts and the lack of intention to offer renewal.
Al-Marakbi said on Channel One: “We agreed with the Future Club, and the matter was resolved by 99%. Omar is excited to participate in the African Championship and deal with Ali Maher, the team’s coach.”
A source from the Future Club told FilGoal.com Earlier: “We reached an agreement to include Omar Al-Saeed.”
The source added, “The club offered to include the Zamalek striker after the expiry of his contract, and the two parties reached an agreement.”
“The agreement between the two parties is a contract for three seasons,” he added.
The player’s agent added, “Omar started the last season well and was one of the team’s top scorer with Ahmed Mostafa “Zizou” before he was injured.”
He stressed, “Until the last moment, Zamalek wanted to renew Omar Al-Saeed’s contract, but he retracted in the end and things happened that I don’t want to mention. The player rejected an attractive offer from Future and other offers last season because of stopping Zamalek from being registered.”
And he continued, “Ferreira, the coach of Zamalek, wanted him to stay, and the injury prevented him from continuing to lead the Zamalek attack, which gave the opportunity to Saif Al-Jaziri, who took advantage of it well and proved his feet.”
Al-Saeed played 22 league matches with Zamalek last season, during which he scored 6 goals.
Al-Saeed, 30, moved from Zarqa to El-Gouna, then Misr for clearing and military production, to Wadi Degla.
Al-Saeed moved from the Tigris to Zamalek in 2018, then Zamalek loaned him to El-Gouna in 2021.
