FilGoal | News | Saleh Jumaa: I had many opportunities with Al-Ahly .. and advised Abdullah to join Al-Ahmar

Saleh Jumaa, the Ceramica Cleopatra player and the former Al-Ahly player, stressed that he had obtained many opportunities during his time with the Red Club, and revealed that he had given advice to Abdullah Jumaa to join Al-Ahly.

Gomaa said in statements to On Time Sports: “In Al-Ahly, I got opportunities that many people did not get over the course of 6 years, but many problems occurred during that period.”

He continued, “Even with my departure, Syed Abdel Hafeez spoke to me and told me that the club wanted to help me, and I received an offer from the Czech League on loan for a season and a half, but I told him that I wanted to leave for good, and indeed the club helped me to do so without problems and I gave up my dues and got the assignment.”

He continued, “Leaving Al-Ahly was the most difficult moment of my life, but I hoped to work hard abroad and to return to the national team, hoping to return in the future.”

He added, “Throughout my time in Al-Ahly, there was a lot of Zamalek to join me, and when I left Al-Ahly, the Zamalek board of directors had been dissolved, and I would sign with Smouha, but my destination differed and I signed with Ceramica Cleopatra.”

He stressed, “Abdullah spoke to me a lot to join Zamalek, but I was telling him I hope you would join Al-Ahly, and Al-Ahly had already spoken to him before renewing Ali Maaloul’s contract, but in the end, Maaloul’s contract was extended and Abdullah continued with Zamalek.”

And he added, “I have changed a lot since my departure from Al-Ahly. I have become a different player because my age has become older and my thinking has become different and I have moved away from all the problems that I experienced when I was young.”

Saleh concluded by talking about Ramadan Sobhi’s departure from Al-Ahly, saying: “I was surprised by Ramadan Sobhi’s departure from Al-Ahly, and I do not think that he won anything in Pyramids except for material matters in Al-Ahly.

The 29-year-old participated with Ceramica in 12 matches during the previous season due to an injury he sustained in his Achilles tendon, during which he managed to score one goal.
