The Egyptian Football Association announced that Nabil Emad “Donga” had a sprain in the outer knee cartilage.
Nabil Emad “Donga”, midfielder for Pyramids and the Egyptian national team, was injured in the Pharaohs’ training session on Wednesday.
The Football Association said:
The x-rays that Nabil Emad “Donga” underwent proved that the player had an outer knee cartilage, during the first training session of the Egyptian national team, which was held at the Burj Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria.
The technical staff and the players were keen to check on the player after the results of the x-rays appeared.

The absence of the Pyramids midfielder will range from 3 to 4 weeks.
A source from the Egyptian national team – who asked not to be named – toldFilGoal.comDonga was injured in training.
“Dunga went to the hospital to do some medical tests to check on him,” he continued.
The source concluded his statements, “There is no truth to the news raised about the cancellation of the team’s training after Dunga’s injury. The training began at six in the evening and ended two hours later, as scheduled.”
Egypt will play two friendlies this month, on 23 and 27.
Al-Faraa faces Niger and Liberia in the first matches of the new coach of the Pharaohs, Roy Vitoria.
