The duo, Sharif and Afsha, will gradually organize Al-Ahly’s collective training, provided that they receive short parts of the ball training, which will be determined within the next 48 hours after the tests that the duo will undergo in Al-Ahly’s collective training.
Muhammad Sharif and Muhammad Magdy Afsha took a break from the training that was held last Saturday evening at the Touch Stadium, according to the duo’s qualifying program, which includes participating in parts of group exercises to prepare them for a full return to training.
Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, head of the medical apparatus, said that Sharif and Afsha’s condition is reassuring from a medical point of view, and that they have received a rest today, provided that they return tomorrow to participate in the exercises and be fully assured of their readiness.
Afsha underwent a rehabilitation program in the last period after performing a “hernia in the abdominal wall” operation in a hospital in 6th of October City, while Muhammad Sharif implemented a rehabilitation program, after suffering an injury to the connective muscle, and the recent period witnessed a significant improvement in the duo’s condition .
Al-Ahly will play three friendly matches during the preparation period, starting with the confrontation with Petrojet on September 21, then meeting with Aswan on September 25, and then playing the third friendly against Talaa Al-Jaish on September 29.
