From time to time, Google continues to make some changes to give a new look and feel to its apps and services. The popular Gmail app from Google recently got a makeover with the addition of some new features, and it seems that the turn of YouTube video service, to get some kind of change.
According to a report by 9to5Google, the changes are being tested on both the mobile and desktop versions of YouTube.
What changes will you see soon on YouTube?
According to the report, the buttons that appear on the page will now have a more oval-shaped design, as buttons like Share and Download among others will have a “pill” shaped design.
Moreover, in the mobile version of YouTube, the carousel will be below the channel details, and it will contain details and information that will appear after the video title, number of views and date posted, and YouTube will also make the top comment look more prominent.
On the desktop, the video description will get something called a “visual call,” according to the report, and the idea is to benefit the creators of the video call, which will make the description pop even more than before.
It is not clear when the proposed changes will be rolled out to users as it appears they are still in the testing phase, however, it is expected that they will be rolled out to beta users first and then rolled out to all users.
