Amid this uproar, it seems that Hossam Habib is in a new trouble after Kuwaiti journalist Talal Al-Fassam revealed that he was threatened by him after he talked about Sherine and her previous disappearance.

He said in television statements, that he spoke in one of the episodes of his program about Sherine and her disappearance and the bad manner of her ex-husband with her based on sources close to both parties, adding that he was threatened by Hossam with beatings and revenge, according to art sites.

He confirmed at the time that he had known about Sherine’s addiction for a while and gave her the choice between continuing the addiction or undergoing treatment and the continuation of their marriage. And he added: “I have nothing to do with the issue, and this was the reason for our disagreement, I chose her between me and drugs, but she remained in the same medium, and refused to listen to my advice, and this is the reason for our divorce.”

Her mother pleaded

It is noteworthy that Sherine’s mother, Karima Abu Zaid, had sought the media’s help from her daughter’s ex-wife. In statements to the “Al-Hekaya” program, she accused him of taking drugs with Sherine, stressing that she asked her son Muhammad to save his sister.

In turn, Muhammad explicitly accused Hossam Habib of pushing his sister into addiction in order to financially exploit her and a group of their friends.
