Books – Youssef Afifi:
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities decided to include the personal visa on the Egyptian Umrah portal in the entire Umrah program, with the aim of controlling the Umrah market.
The decision came after a large number of citizens wishing to travel to perform Umrah obtained this visa, at a price starting from 10,000 pounds, not including the barcode, travel tickets, and accommodation in Makkah and Madinah.
And the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah allowed Saudi citizens to invite their friends to the Kingdom to perform Umrah, with the aim of providing facilities for Muslims in various countries of the world to visit the Sacred House of God.
“Masrawy” monitors the most important information about the personal visa and ways to obtain it, as follows:
The personal visa is characterized by allowing its holder to travel for a full year (365 days).
It allows you to stay in the Kingdom for only 90 days, separated by several trips.
– It is not required to travel with a visa before the lapse of 90 days from the date of its issuance, but rather travel with it at any time during the year.
The personal visa is characterized by performing Umrah several times throughout the year.
– The visa is valid for the Umrah of Ramadan, for all professions, qualifications and ages, for men and women.
The visa enables its holder to be inside the country to conduct some interviews or interests.
Ways to get it:
– Official tourism companies in the country of the pilgrim, contracting with Saudi Umrah companies.
Obtaining a visa from an external agent through direct contracting.
– The pilgrims book the services they want in Saudi Arabia through electronic applications available for this purpose.
The pilgrims obtain a reference number to submit the visa application from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs platform for electronic visas.
Citizens of the Kingdom can invite their friends to visit Saudi Arabia and perform Umrah, through the following:
1- Submit a request for a personal visit on the visa platform at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2- Applying for a “visit” request, by serving individuals on the platform and logging in through the single national access platform.
3- Fill in the data of those to be invited by requesting a personal visit, and agree to the necessary undertakings.
4- The application is then processed and a “personal visit visa document” is issued, whose data can be reviewed through the “invitation request” inquiry service.
It is worth noting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stopped issuing Umrah visas completely on the 15th of Dhu al-Qi’dah of each Hijri year and resumed again after the end of the Hajj season on the 15th of Dhu al-Hijjah.
