Spaniard Juan Carlos Garrido has been named the club’s new coach Ismaili The date of his arrival in Cairo, where the Spanish coach will arrive in Cairo tomorrow, Wednesday, accompanied by the Spanish trio of his assistant, who are a general coach, a load coach and a goalkeeper coach.
Ismaili club officials are preparing to announce the inauguration of the Spaniard Juan Carlos Garrido as technical director of the Dervishes for two seasons, after the two parties agreed on all the details of the contract, and Garrido announced in a video his happiness to return to the Egyptian football again through the yellow castle gate.
Jarrido coached Al-Ahly between 2014 and 2015, with him he won the African Confederation Cup and the Egyptian Super Cup.
Jarrido is not associated with coaching any team since his departure from Castellón in May 2021.
Jarrido has previously trained Villarreal, Real Betis, and Club Brugge, and also has several experiences in the Arab region with the Saudi agreement, and the Moroccan Raja, with whom he won the African Confederation, Al Ain, the UAE, the Tunisian coastal star, and Moroccan Wydad.
The Ismaili board of directors, headed by Eng. Yahya El-Koumi, had concluded 11 deals in an effort to correct the course and return the team to its normal position among the adults, after the inclusion of Ghanaian Yao Anwar, Ivorian Abdelkader Coulibaly, Tunisian Hamdi El-Naqaz, Nour Al-Zaman Al-Zamouri, Firas Shawat, Bassem Morsi, Mahmoud Al-Shabrawi, Saleh Gomaa and Ahmed Mohsen and Muhammad Hassan, in addition to borrowing Karim Arafat.
