Major General Samir Farag: We cannot forget the image of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed donating blood to the Egyptian soldiers

Major General Samir Farag, a military and strategic expert, said: “The Egyptian and Emirati administrations have always shared common visions and strong relations over the past years.” The Egyptian people cannot forget the position of the Arab Emirates during the glorious October War, and what the UAE worked on to provide material and moral support during the preparations for the war.”

Faraj added: “We cannot forget the image of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, who is on the battlefield donating blood to the Egyptian soldiers, and Sheikh Zayed also ordered the deduction of a month’s salary from every Emirati to support the war effort in Egypt. All this and others reflect the depth of relations between the two peoples. ».

Farag pointed out: “The integrated strategic cooperation between Egypt and the UAE confirms the depth of political, military and economic coordination between the two sisterly countries, and the continuation of this cooperation in an integrated manner will support the stability of the region as a whole, and thus a better future for our Arab peoples.”

For his part, Al Nuaimi, Director-General of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, emphasized in his speech: “Egypt’s stability is reflected in all Arab countries, and the famous word of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, was: (Egypt is the heart of the Arab body.. The heart died, the body died), adding: “Sheikh Zayed was one of the most supportive of Egypt’s administration and people, and the glorious October war was the most difficult period, and the UAE worked to provide all forms of support, and with possible forces to help its sister Egypt in confronting its war.”

Al-Nuaimi pointed out: “The joint Egyptian and Emirati visions were the pillar of stability in the region despite all the challenges that the Arab region faced, and military maneuvers and military cooperation were among the areas that emphasized the unification of the war vision of the two countries’ army.”
