He explained that the “electronic invoice governance” platform was launched in the administrative authorities “SPGS”, to link it with the electronic tax invoice system “E-INVOICE”, in cooperation with the company “E-Finance”. In a manner that contributes to facilitating the state’s administrative authorities in the field of concluding contracts, meeting their needs for purchases, services and contracting work, with the availability of tax registration requirements, and preserving the tax rights of those dealing with the state’s administrative apparatus.

The minister said that linking the “electronic payment and collection” and “electronic tax invoices” systems, through this new digital platform, to the administrative authorities, helps in enhancing governance, optimal utilization of state resources, raising the efficiency of government spending, achieving financial inclusion, and maximizing efforts to integrate the non-native economy. the official, and the usurpation of the rights of the public treasury, pointing to the prohibition of contracting with the administrative authorities with those who are not registered in the “electronic invoice” from the first of next December, pointing out that the mechanized systems have made us more able to achieve tax justice and stimulate investment; In a way that contributes to strengthening efforts to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development, and to facilitate the business community.

Tariq Bassiouni, Head of the Accounts and Financial Directorates Sector, confirmed that an action plan has been prepared to implement the assignments of the digital platform for billing governance in the administrative authorities, and to integrate with the electronic invoice system.

Amal Ibrahim Mustafa, head of the central administration of government accounts, indicated that a number of workshops were organized in the administrative authorities to learn about the new electronic platform, in the presence of financial observers and representatives of the Ministry of Finance, members of the Contracting Department and a representative of the electronic payment and collection system, and a group of trainers in the accounts sector conducted the training And the financial directorates, according to a specific time plan, and the rest of the human cadres were trained in the administrative authorities, in a way that contributes to maximizing the efforts of “protectors of public money,” tightening control over exchange, and usurping the right of the public treasury.
