Books – Ali Al-Bahaji:

Mortada Mansour, president of Zamalek Club, responded to the statements of the spokesperson of the Long Live Egypt Fund, during which the latter confirmed that Al-Ahly club implemented the desire of Turki Al-Sheikh, the honorary former president of the Red Club, to hand over gifts to the fund, noting that the matter has been completed since 2021.

Al-Ahly club, Al-Ahly club, sent an official letter to the Long Live Egypt Fund, requesting to reveal the truth to public opinion regarding the financial donations that the club received in an earlier period.

Mortada Mansour said in statements on the Zamalek Club channel: “I say to the person who says that he is the spokesman for the Long Live Egypt Fund, this is a sovereign fund, and its secrets should not be revealed.”

He added: “Al-Ahly issued a statement in which he insulted me and said that I am spreading rumors, and I tell them to get out and respond to what I say with documents and not with data.”

He continued: “The person who spoke today with Ahmed Moussa and says that he is the spokesman for the Long Live Egypt Fund, came out and said Al-Ahly came back.”

He continued: “I had closed this page and you were the ones who opened it again, and I say to Mahmoud Al-Khatib, if you sent Turki Al-Sheikh gifts to the Long Live Egypt Fund, would you prove this in the club’s budget?”

He continued, wondering: “Did this money go to the Long Live Egypt fund in “Tuk Tuk” or via a receipt or “check”?

And he added, “I challenge the budget to have this talk, and I say to Al-Ahly, respond to my words with a document, you did not return anything, and the call is a lie in a lie.”

And he concluded: “For $2 million, they entered Al-Ahly through the club’s magazine account, because it is not monitored by the Central Auditing Organization.”
