“Mountain View” participates in the COP 27 conference in Sharm El-Sheikh to support the achievement of the sustainable development goals

Mountain View Real Estate Development and Investment Company – one of the largest real estate development companies in Egypt – is participating in the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change COP 27Believing in the importance of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and building resilience and adapting to the inevitable effects of climate change, and in line with the company’s vision to support the country’s efforts to achieve sustainable development goals through Egypt’s Vision 2030, which aims to provide an integrated and sustainable ecosystem that enhances resilience and the ability to facing risks.

The 27th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change is being held COP 27in Sharm El-Sheikh from 6 to 18 November, with the presence and official participation of 197 countries within the framework of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

During the sessions of the Climate Change Conference, Eng. Amr Soliman, founder and Chairman of Mountain View Company, will present the company’s efforts to adopt the achievement of the United Nations sustainable development goals in Egypt, through several axes, the most important of which is providing an ideal environment for employees that helps them innovate and provide gender equality. And the establishment of sustainable urban communities that operate with clean energy and have large green spaces to reduce carbon dioxide levels, and contribute to providing decent job opportunities and the growth of the national economy.

Amr Soliman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mountain View Development and Real Estate Investment, said that Egypt’s hosting of the 27th session of the Climate Change Conference comes as a confirmation of the state’s interest in the climate change file and its sincere efforts to achieve consensus among all parties to support limiting the negative effects of climate change and adapting to it, as well as an opportunity To promote the remarkable economic progress that Egypt witnessed as a result of improving infrastructure and providing energy, praising the government’s efforts over the past months to prepare for the conference in an ideal manner that befits Egypt’s image before the world.

Amr Soliman pointed to the efforts of the Mountain View Company’s management to limit climate change by contracting with major international design companies to develop designs for the company’s various projects that take into account the surrounding environmental conditions, and rely on clean energy in management and operation, in addition to the company’s consideration of energy consumption, and a system for recycling Recycling solid waste, in addition to raising the awareness of the Mountain View community about the danger of climate change, and the role of every individual in this community to reduce harmful emissions that cause the climate change crisis.
