Mohamed Mukhtar, Director of Players Affairs at Talaa El-Jaish Club, completed the procedures for listing the first list of his team in preparation for the new season, which included 15 players, most notably Mustafa Al-Zanari and Mohamed Bassam, while Mohamed Nassef and Mohamed Anwar were excluded.
The list included: “Mohamed Shaaban, Ahmed Hani, Rajab Abdel Halim, Khaled Sarhan, Amr Imad, Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Hassan Magdy, Ali Mohamed, Mohamed Bassam, Ahmed Samir, Ali Hamdi, Abdel Rahman Osama, Mustafa Al-Zinari, Mahmoud Atef and Ahmed Salem.”
Tala’a Al-Jaish officials succeeded in contracting with Alaa Abdel-Al, the former coach of the Eastern Company, to lead the team in the new season 2022/2023.
Tariq Al-Ashry coached the football team at Talaa El-Jaish Club in two periods, the first was from November 11, 2020 until January 4, 2021, and he led them in only 7 matches, winning one match, drawing in another and losing 5 matches.
Then Al-Ashry took over the training of the Army’s Vanguards on December 29, 2021, succeeding Ahmed Abdel Aziz, who temporarily assumed technical responsibility since Abdel Hamid Bassiouni’s departure from coaching the team.
During 29 matches in the second period of Tariq Al-Ashry with the football team at Talaa El-Jaish Club, he won 14 matches, drew in 12 and lost only 3 matches, during which he collected 54 points, out of the 56 that the team collected in its league campaign this season.
Al-Tala’i finished the season in fourth place with 56 points, after playing 34 matches, winning 14 matches, drawing in the same number, losing 6 matches, scoring 27 goals and conceding 24 goals.
