The country is witnessing a gradual decrease in temperatures during the weather of the next school week, as meteorologists announced that the next six days of the week will witness rain extending to Cairo, after the country, especially Cairo and the northern coasts, witnessed heavy thunderstorms that flooded some areas in Cairo, and the amount of rain falling reached half million cubic meters and was discharged to the Nile River.
From tomorrow, Saturday, the weather is expected to witness continued chances of rain in separate areas, until the end of the new week next Thursday.
Temperatures will continue to gradually decrease, starting from tomorrow, Saturday, to record 27 in Cairo and 20 in minor, while it will reach 17 degrees Celsius in Cairo next Tuesday.
For her part, Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the Meteorological Authority’s media center, warned against loosening clothes, especially in the early hours of the day, appealing to parents to wear autumn clothes when students go to school in the morning, as well as the late hours of the day.
And a member of the Meteorological Authority’s media center appealed to the necessity of carrying a light jacket while descending during times when temperatures drop to 17 degrees Celsius, while it reaches 16 degrees Celsius in northern Upper Egypt on Sunday.
Tomorrow, Saturday, the weather will witness light rain on areas of the northern coasts and Lower Egypt, which may extend to areas of Greater Cairo at intermittent periods.
As part of tomorrow’s weather bulletin issued by the authority, there is an opportunity to be a water mist in the morning on some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the Canal cities, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.
Within the forecast bulletin for the week issued by the Meteorological Authority, the weather next Sunday will witness chances of light rain in areas of the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt at intermittent periods.
The day after tomorrow, it will also witness the possibility of a water mist in the morning on some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the cities of the Canal, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.
The Meteorological Authority expected rain on Monday and Tuesday, light to medium, on areas of the northern coasts and Lower Egypt at intermittent intervals, with an incidence of 30% to 40%.
The weather in this period also witnesses wind activity sometimes in areas of southern Sinai at intermittent periods.

Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, ranging from 27 to 25 degrees
The northern coasts range from 24 to 26 degrees for the high and 20 to 17 for the low
South Sinai ranges between 30 to 28 degrees and 23-21 for the small
North of Upper Egypt, ranging from 28 to 26 degrees and 17 to 16 for the lower
South of Upper Egypt, ranging from 31 to 28 degrees and 19 to 18 for the smallest
