The head of the Egyptian Tax Authority, Mokhtar Tawfiq, confirmed that as of November 1, 2022, the 3-day period granted to financiers registered on the electronic invoice system to send electronic invoices to the system has been reduced to two days from the date of issuance of the electronic invoice, in accordance with the Unified Tax Procedures Law No. (206). The head of the Tax Authority indicated that starting from next December 1, the deadline granted to financiers registered on the electronic invoice system to send invoices on the system will become only one day from the date of issuing the electronic invoice, explaining that the period granted to financiers to send electronic invoices on the system will be gradually reduced, until the Cancel it so that the financiers send the electronic invoices in real time (during the same day of issuance) as of 1/1/2023
The head of the Tax Authority added that the Ministry of Finance and the Tax Authority provide all facilities and support to companies for the mandatory joining of the electronic invoice system, whether through the support centers for electronic invoice in the following places: the center of major financiers in the tenth district of Nasr City, or the inventory and declarations sector in Aga Khan, or the mission of joint stock companies, or the mission of joint-stock companies, or Investment, or the administrative headquarters of the Department of Electronic Transactions in Salah Salem, or through field visits, and through the Integrated Call Center on number 16395 or through the e-mail [email protected]
