The 16th annual ‘EFG Hermes One-on-One’ conference, the most prominent investment conference in emerging and frontier markets, kicks off today in Dubai

EFG Hermes Holdings, the comprehensive bank in Egypt and the leading investment bank in emerging and frontier markets, today launched the 16th annual investment conferenceEFG Hermes One on One›› Under the patronage of Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the United Arab Emirates.

This year’s edition will be held at the Atlantis Hotel, Dubai, which will witness the holding of thousands of meetings between representatives of the executive management of major companies and the most prominent investment institutions around the world, during the activities of the conference, which will end on the 22nd of this September.

The conference, which was launched this year’s edition under the title “Overcoming the Challenges of Inflation and Exploring Investment Opportunities in Emerging and Frontier Markets”, continues to provide representatives of the most prominent investment institutions and managers of international investment funds with a unique opportunity to learn about the most prominent developments and trends in emerging and frontier markets, in addition to exploring promising investment opportunities through Holding direct meetings with the executive leadership of major companies listed on the Middle East and North African stock exchanges from four continents around the world. In this context, Karim Awad, CEO of EFG Hermes Holding, expressed his happiness to return to the conference for the first time since the (Covid-19) pandemic, which is being organized this year under the patronage of Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Awad added that this year’s edition of the investment conference, which is the largest of its kind so far, will be launched in conjunction with emerging and novice markets facing many challenges in light of the current difficulties and fluctuations in the global economy.
