FIFA is preparing to hold the Club World Cup draw ceremony, which has been postponed since last year. At the Mohamed V Football Academy in Rabat, the capital of Morocco.

Today, Friday, the International Federation of Football Associations “FIFA” will hold a draw at 1:00 pm Club World Cup 2023 Which will be hosted by the State of Morocco from 1 to 11 February 2023.

The International Federation confirmed that the draw for the Club World Cup will start at 1 pm Cairo time on the BN Sports channel network and the Moroccan sports channel network, to transmit the events of the 2022 Club World Cup draw held in Morocco.

The Moroccan Wydad, the Egyptian Al-Ahly and the Saudi Al-Hilal clubs are participating in the competition, and the Spanish Real Madrid, the Brazilian Flamengo, the American Seattle Sounders and Auckland City are competing with the Arab trio.

The champions of the 6 continental confederations will participate in the FIFA Club World Cup, in addition to the league champion of the host country.

The competition begins with the Egyptian Al-Ahly match against New Zealand’s Auckland City, the winner of which will face one of 3 teams: Moroccan Wydad – Al Hilal Saudi Arabia – American Seattle Sounders, while the other two teams will meet to determine the qualifiers to face Real Madrid and Flamengo.

Although Al-Ahly has the record as the most participating Arab and African club in the World Cup, the biggest Arab achievement came from the share of Moroccan Raja and Al-Ain of the United Arab Emirates, after reaching the final of the tournament and obtaining the runner-up and the silver medal in the 2013 and 2018 editions, respectively.

Al-Ahly also holds another record, which is the most Arab and African club to win medals in the World Cup, after the team succeeded in snatching the bronze medal 3 times in 2006, 2020 and 2022.
