The President of the Republic of India and the Indian Prime Minister received President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in the courtyard of the Indian Presidential Palace.
Yesterday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived in the Indian capital, New Delhi, to participate as a guest of honor in India’s Republic Day celebrations, in response to the invitation of Indian Prime Minister “Narendra Modi” to participate as a guest of honor in India’s Republic Day celebrations, which coincides with the day the Constitution of the Republic of India came into force in the year 1950″.
Ambassador Bassam Rady, the official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that the invitation of the President as a main guest of honor to this event reflects the great rapprochement between the two countries, and the deep appreciation that India has for Egypt’s leadership, government and people, as well as the deep interest of the Indian side in strengthening relations of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries as one of the two countries. The most important emerging countries and their vital role in various issues on the regional and international arenas.
Ambassador Bassam Rady stated that the President’s visit to India coincides with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Egypt and India, where the President is scheduled to meet with a number of officials in India, led by Prime Minister Modi and President Draupadi Mormo. Along with a number of other officials, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations at all levels.
The visit will also include the president’s meeting with heads and representatives of a number of leading Indian companies in various fields, to discuss mechanisms for strengthening economic relations between the two sides, and to review attractive investment opportunities in Egypt.
