The Ministry of Tourism participates in the first conference of the Association of Indian Wedding Planners


The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation, participated in the activities of the first conference of the Federation of Indian Wedding Planners EMF Global, one of the most important alliances that includes specialists in organizing weddings that are world-famous for their large organization and high economic return, with the aim of promoting wedding tourism in Egypt. This is within the framework of the ministry’s efforts to diversify the different tourist patterns and attract different segments of tourists.

The conference was held in a hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, with the participation of more than 150 companies involved in organizing weddings, events and exhibitions from India.

During the conference, Amr El-Qadi, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation, gave a welcoming speech, during which he emphasized the depth of the bonds and common relations between the Egyptian and Indian civilizations, which are among the oldest, most diverse and rich human civilizations. The CEO of the authority stressed the authority’s keenness to participate in the activities of this conference, as part of the ministry’s efforts to promote the Egyptian tourist destination as a destination for wedding parties, as wedding tourism is one of the global tourism patterns that attract tourists with high spending, especially as this contributes to diversifying patterns. tourism and maximizing the benefit from the tourism, archaeological and civilizational components of Egypt.

On the sidelines of the conference, Amr El-Kady held several bilateral meetings with a number of companies to discuss their work plan and future vision for organizing these events in Egypt.
