The handball team in Zamalek Club has two scenarios to qualify for the Club World Cup “Super Globe”, which will be held next October in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Zamalek crowned the title of the Arab Championship currently being held in Tunisia, where the champion qualifies directly after the approval of the International Federation recently, and Zamalek succeeded in winning the kick-off against Esperance of Tunisia 34/28 yesterday, Saturday.
The second scenario
Zamalek played the final match with Kuwait’s Kuwait, who is already qualified for the Club World Cup, being the champion of the Asian continent, and therefore if he wins the Arab Championship title, the second-place holder will get a ticket to qualify for the Club World Cup.
The handball team of Zamalek Club recently won the Egyptian Super Cup title after beating Al-Ahly with a score of 23/27 in the confrontation that brought both teams together at Hassan Mustafa Hall on October 6, which hosted the competition for three consecutive days in the Egyptian Super Cup.
While the start of the competition witnessed Zamalek’s victory over Sporting with a kick-off on Saturday, 36/37 in extra time, after a tie in the original time with a result of 29/29, before Al-Ahly met with Sporting the next day at the same time and achieved a 20/21 victory.
