In another context, the famous businessman Elon Musk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tesla and Twitter, plans to reduce the workforce in Twitter, to approximately 3,700 employees, which is nearly half of the workforce in the most famous platform.

According to a report published by Variety, Musk plans to reduce the number of the platform’s 7,500 employees, and this news comes one week after the famous businessman acquired the platform for $44 billion.

Representatives of the Twitter platform declined to comment on this news, in addition, he will announce the termination of the company’s permanent work from home policy, which was established two years ago at the beginning of the Corona pandemic.

And the new owner of the Twitter platform has previously said that the banned accounts on the micro-blogging site, including those of former US President Donald Trump, will not be operated, at least until the end of the US midterm elections.

The Tesla CEO’s statement came as a study revealed that Twitter has removed six disinformation networks on the platform linked to two countries, which were tweeting about the November 8 midterm elections.

Musk said anyone who is banned from using the social media platform for violating the content rules will not be allowed to return until a process is established to do so, which “would take at least a few more weeks.”
