A source in the Zamalek club confirmed that the Cameroonian Joel Tajo, who is professional in the ranks of the Portuguese Maritimo, is a candidate to move to Zamalek.

The source confirmed that Joel Tajo is the most prominent candidate to move to the ranks of Zamalek during the transfer period to support the offensive line in the new season.

Zamalek had settled on contracting a foreign striker in the current period to strengthen the team’s ranks after Marwan Hamdi’s final departure from Al-Masry Club.

The medical staff of Zamalek, led by Dr. Mohamed Osama, was keen to give the players the necessary vaccinations against endemic diseases in Africa in order to preserve the safety of the mission.

It is worth noting that the first leg against Chad’s Elect will be held at Ahmed Ahidjo Stadium in Cameroon on September 18, and the return meeting will be held at Cairo International Stadium on September 25.
